- November 27: Field Trip forms are due! 

- November 28th - No School for students 

- December 2: Field trip to the Hangar Flight Museum. We are still looking for one more volunteer to help make this a successful field trip. Please let us know if you are able to volunteer!

Last week was a short week, but we were able to accomplish a lot! Students completed their autobiographies during writing time and today we began the editing and revising process where they did both a self edit, and then a peer edit with a partner. We talked about how it's important to re-read our work and make changes so we can really enhance our writing. Here is the checklist that students used for this writing task:

In science, we are also working hard to wrap up our climate and weather unit, so we can move onto learning about energy, which is connected to flight and our upcoming field trip. Students who wished to share their climate zone presentations, presented them to the class. On Friday we attempted to make wind vanes and anemometers, although we ran into a few issues! We decided to revisit this today, and while we were able to build the weather instruments, they still didn't work as well as we had hoped. We are going back to the drawing board to make some changes, and will test them out again later this week :) 

In gym, students began a new unit today - soccer!
